Sheets — Taylor

NEW ALEXANDRIA – The United Methodist Church in New Alexandria was chosen for the union of Donald Wesley Taylor Jr. and Elizabeth Holly Marie Sheets in marriage. The 1 p.m. ceremony on Jan. 3 was presided over by the Rev. Jimm Woods.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Charles “Butch” Sheets of New Alexandria. Along with her father, the bride stood at the altar with her son, Brandon, and her daughters, Katherine, Hailey and Harleigh. The bride chose a black velvet gown and carried a bouquet of black and blue roses accented with blue and silver.

The groom stood with his best man and ring bearer John Micheal Painter of Steubenville.

The bride is a graduate of Buckeye Local High School and Jefferson Community College with an associate of arts degree, and Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, communications and social work.

The groom is a graduate of Steubenville High School and is a project manager for Tri-State Painting.
