Loffreda-Mancinelli — Manalac
STEUBENVILLE – Maria Paola Loffreda-Mancinelli and Dr. Fernando Manalac were united in marriage on Oct. 6 at St. Paul Cathedral of Pittsburgh. The Rev. Michael Roche officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Claudio Loffreda-Mancinelli of Beaver, Pa.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Fernando Manalac Sr. of Steubenville.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a silk, white organza strapless, sweetheart gown with cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of white orchids.
Constance Ferra served as maid of honor. Carmen Rankin, Lynn Stanley and Maureen Goldstein, sisters of the groom, served as bridesmaids, as well as Gina Barraco and Lisa Barraco, cousins of the bride; and Dixie Smith, Helen Sims and Jessica Nehme.
Carmela Aulet and Riley Flanagan, great-nieces of the groom, and Aurelia Loffreda-Mancinelli, cousin of the bride, were the flower girls.
Antonio Barraco, cousin of the bride, and Christopher Sanna, great-nephew of the groom, were the ring bearers.
Eli Barrett was the best man. Steve Manalac, brother of the groom, was a groomsman, as well as Antonio Loffreda-Mancinelli and Marco Loffreda-Mancinelli, brothers of the bride; and Steve Banyas, Tom Cerminara, Mike Cortez, Joe Polshaw and Robert Llantada.
A reception was held at Carnegie Museum’s Music Hall.
The couple honeymooned in Paris and Ischia, Italy, and now reside in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The bride is a graduate of Beaver Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in history of art and architecture and studio arts. She also obtained a master’s degree in arts management from Carnegie Mellon University. She is the founder of Bright Side Healing Arts.
The groom is a graduate of Catholic Central High School and Robert Morris University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in hospital administration. He also obtained a medical degree from Saint George’s University and a master’s degree in medical management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is employed as a sports medicine physician at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
