Furda — Romesberg
WELLSBURG – Amy Marie Furda and Merle Elwood Romesberg III were united in marriage on Nov. 10 at Heinz Chapel in Pittsburgh, with the Rev. Thomas Burke and the Rev. Will Osman co-officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Marlene Furda of Wellsburg. The groom is the son of Merle and Hazel Romesberg Jr. of Rockwood, Pa.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her parents. She wore an ivory satin and lace ballgown with lace sleeves and her mother’s veil. She carried a bouquet of cream roses and lily of the valley.
The maid of honor was Molly Furda, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly Frey, Anna Korinko and Denise Sautter. Eva and Clara Beck, cousins of the groom, were the flower girls.
The best man was Noah Sautter. Groomsmen were Allen Johnson, Robin Tauffman and Mohit Srivastava. Edison Jeffers, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.
After a reception at the Great Hall in West View, Pa., the couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Bethany College and a 2011 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a doctorate in molecular pharmacology. She is employed with Pittsburgh Technical Institute as a nursing/allied health instructor.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with degrees in physics and computer science. He is employed as a computational physicist at Best Nomos in Emsworth, Pa.
They reside in Pittsburgh.
