Mieczkowski – Hawrot

WINTERSVILLE – Amanda Mieczkowski and Zachary Hawrot were united in marriage on Aug. 31 at Holy Family Church of Steubenville. The Rev. Michael Gossett, cousin of the bride, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Fred and Brenda Mieczkowski of Wintersville.

The groom in the son of Daniel and Lynette Hawrot of Steubenville.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a net over satin ball gown featuring a lace bodice of organza apple blossoms with rhinestones.

Mia Zamana served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ashley Mieczkowski, sister of the bride; Kristen LaRoche, cousin of the bride; Bekah Weigel, sister of the groom; Brittany Stillwagon; Dana Portis; and Kelly Gallagher.

Joshua Hawrot, brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Jonathan Homol, Franco Carapellotti, Sean Crofford, Jonathan Minto, Jesse Weigel and Andrew Rudmann.

Gemma Wiegel, niece of the groom, was the flower girl, and Kaleb Mieczkowski, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Steubenville Country Club. The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2010 graduate of Walsh University earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed with Trinity Health System.

The groom also is a 2006 graduate of Catholic Central and a 2010 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville earning a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. He is self-employed.

The couple live in Wintersville.
