Barnes — Gombar

TORONTO – Anna Marie Barnes and John Stephen Gombar were united in marriage on June 21 on the beach at the Hilton Key Largo Florida.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Joann Barnes of Toronto. The groom is the son of John and Donna Gombar of Wintersville.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an all-lace gown with crystal straps and embellishments.

Andrea Anderson served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Bartoletti, Julie Paul, Cara Lion, cousin of the groom, and Rain Johns, niece of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Ixy Barnes and Coda Johns, nieces of the bride.

Paul Kramer served as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Irwin, Regis Whiteside, Chris Lopatowicz, Mark Witkoswki and Tommy Brown. Sky Barnes, nephew of the bride, was a junior groomsman.

Natalia Gombar, niece of the groom, served as flower girl, and Jionni Gombar, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.

After the ceremony, a cocktail hour with steel drum music was held on the terrace followed by a reception in the Bayview Ballroom of the Hilton.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Toronto High School and a 2012 graduate of Trinity School of Nursing. She received her bachelor of nursing degree from Ohio University in 2014. She is employed by Trinity Health System as an ICU nurse.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2013 graduate of Trinity School of Nursing. He is employed by Trinity Health System as a registered nurse.

The couple honeymooned in Granada and are residing in Steubenville.
