DiBartolomeo — Boswell
WEIRTON — Dr. Christina DiBartolomeo and Dr. Benjamin Boswell were united in marriage on Sept. 3, 2016, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton with the Rev. Tony Thurston presiding. A reception followed at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Maria DiBartolomeo of Weirton. The groom is the son of Sheryl Boswell of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Tim Boswell.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace, sleeveless gown with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses and hydrangeas.
Michaela Bragg, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Monica Bragg, Dr. Lindsay Sobotka and Sarah Boswell were the bridesmaids.
Tim Boswell, brother of the groom, served as best man. Dan Boswell, Joey DiBartolomeo, Dr. Bob Figura and Wade Clevenger were the groomsmen.
Brooke Howard was the flower girl, and Sammy Boswell was the ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of Brooke High School and Georgetown University. She received her medical degree in 2015 from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is completing her Internal Medicine residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The groom is a graduate of Thomas Worthington High School and Ohio State University. He received his medical degree in 2013 from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and is finishing his Emergency Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla. He will be starting a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Duke University this summer.
The couple serve as reservists in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
They plan to honeymoon in Aruba in the spring.
