PITTSBURGH — Jenna Marie Simpson and Adam Richard Jensen were united in marriage July 14 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Larry Homitsky officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Simpson of Follansbee.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rich Jensen of Maricopa, Ariz.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of ivory, lace and tulle over royal organza.
Daniela Lazcano served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenna McCormick and Jacee Rowing, Ali Gerrard and Alexa Gerrard, cousins of the bride.
Charlize Dimaiwat was flower girl.
Mike Daniel was best man. Jerard Simpson, brother of the bride, was a groomsman as were Lynn Ewald, Tim Brandt and Nick Hempfer.
A reception was held at Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory. The couple honeymooned in Aruba.
The bride is a graduate of Brooke High School who earned her master of arts degree in elementary education from West Virginia University. She is a kindergarten teacher in Fairfax County, Va., Public Schools.
The groom earned his bachelor’s of arts degree in secondary education from the University of Minnesota — Duluth. He is a high school teacher in Loudoun County Public Schools.
The couple are making their home in Chantilly, Va.
