Augustine — Yuhas
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Alaina Augustine and Brian Yuhas were married on July 22 at Holy Comforter Catholic Church in Charlottesville. The Rev. Joseph Mary Lukyamuzi officiated the wedding Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Rocco and Denise Augustine of Steubenville.
The groom is the son of Ronald and Sandy Yuhas of Ebensburg, Pa.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore an ivory fit-and-flare gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline and all over lace and floating beaded lace appliques.
Brittany Riley served as the bride’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alisha Carroll, Dominique Augustine and Katie Hamrock, cousins of the bride; Kristen Merritt; and Jeannette Yuhas, sister of the groom.
The best man was Adam Yuhas, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Anthony Augustine, brother of the bride, and A.J. Wehar, Brock Lauer and Justin Davidson.
A dinner reception was held at The Lodge at Mount Ida in Charlottesville.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School and received a doctorate degree in 2012 from Duquesne University’s Mylan School of Pharmacy. She is employed by Walgreen’s as a specialty pharmacy manager.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. He also received a doctorate degree in 2012 from Duquesne University’s Mylan School of Pharmacy and is employed by CVS as a pharmacy supervisor.
The couple honeymooned in Tanzania, Africa, and reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
