Lauttamus Communications and Security of Weirton has provided a boost to the Friends of Brooke Hills Park group, providing $18,500 for a new sound system for the park’s swimming pool and boathouse, with the latter used to call boaters in after their allotted time. Paul Lauttamus, president of the business, said the donation is in memory of its founder and his father, Al, a Wellsburg native who enjoyed visiting the park.
