Hilscher-Clarke to open in Wintersville
WINTERSVILLE — Hilscher-Clarke Electrical Contractors and Engineers is expanding its operations in Ohio with a new location opening in Wintersville.
The office, at 300 Cadiz Road, is located to better serve customers in the region — particularly those in the oil and gas industry working in the Utica shale region, officials said.
“Hilscher-Clarke has been providing its electrical construction and engineering services to oil and gas companies in Southeast Ohio for the past several years,” said Scott Goodspeed, Hilscher-Clarke president. “As our work in this region continues to grow, we’ve committed to developing a permanent presence in Wintersville to meet the needs of our customers in this demanding industry.”
Headquartered in Canton, Hilscher-Clarke has more than 400 employees. The company has steadily expanded during the past 20 years, opening new locations in Akron, Coshocton, Massillon and Columbus.
The Wintersville branch will be managed by Corey Smith, an East Liverpool native and third-generation electrician from IBEW Local 246 in Steubenville. Hilscher-Clarke will be employing more local electricians as the office expands in the coming months, officials said.
The company offers more than 100 years of expertise in the industry and will provide its full range of electrical services for oil and gas, advanced testing, maintenance, instrumentation services, substation builds, heavy industrial, data, voice and video and residential projects.
Hilscher-Clarke’s seasoned electrical professionals take craftsmanship seriously, said John Fether, the company’s chief operating officer.
“Our goal is to complete every job accurately and efficiently, at a fair price. We’ve been here for more than a century and continue to work hard every day at earning our customers’ business.”
The company serves industrial manufacturing, commercial and health care customers and specializes in 24-hour maintenance/repair, oil and gas, automation, advanced testing and data and voice and video work.
