Humane society opens animal clinic

Brandi Damewood, fourth from left, community outreach manager for the Jefferson County Humane Society, cut the ribbon Thursday at the official opening of the animal clinic at 81 Talbott Drive in Wintersville. Also in attendance at the ceremony were humane society board members Casey Robinson, Jefferson County humane officer and director of operations; Sally Wehr, board president; Amy Stove, board vice president; Kristi Kirkpatrick, board medical committee chair; and Lisa Goodrich, board member. The low-cost clinic offers spaying and neutering services, physical examinations, dental cleaning and routine vaccinations. It is open every weekday and one Saturday a month.
