Area native named top Realtor

COLUMBUS — Ralph Mantica, a native of Steubenville, was named Realtor of the Year during the Ohio Realtors 108th-annual Convention and Expo held Sept. 16-18.

The owner and broker of Kinzeler Realty in Dayton, Mantica was nominated by the Dayton Realtors.

Mantica, who has been a Realtor since 1985, served as president of the Dayton Realtors in 2015 and has been a member of many of the organization’s committees.

On the state level, he has served as a member of the board of directors since 2011, was District 5 vice president and has served as a member and in leadership for a number of the organization’s committees and task forces.

Mantica serves as a member of the National Association of Realtors’ Political Action Committee Major Investor Council.

He earned the certified residential specialist professional designations from NAR and will serve as president of the Ohio Residential Real Estate Council in 2019. Mantica is a graduate of the Dayton and Ohio Realtors leadership academies, and has been a RPAC major investor for the past four years.

Mantica has been involved with St. Alberts Church Parish Council, St. Alberts Athletic Association, is a founding member and past president of the Alter High School Football Association Knights of Gold, a member of the Alter High School Boosters and the Boy Scouts of America.

With more than 33,000 members, Ohio Realtors is the largest professional trade association in Ohio.

Judging for the award includes professional achievements, local board and association activities, service to the Ohio and National Association of Realtors, business and education experience and civic activities.
