Perkins earns financial adviser honor

STEUBENVILLE — Ken Perkins, registered representative with Tri-State Financial Services, has been recognized as one of the top 300 financial advisers affiliated with Cetera Advisor Networks.

Perkins was recognized for his efforts in 2017, and of the 2,586 advisers associated with Cetera Advisor Networks in 2017. Perkins ranked in the top 12 percent nationwide earning him the title of a Presidents Conference Qualifier once again. Perkins also was the leading adviser with SBS Brokerage Services LLC of Carnegie, Pa.

Since becoming affiliated with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC in September 2013, Perkins has been a perennial Presidents Conference Qualifier.

Tri-State Financial Services was established in March 1985 as a MetLife Affiliate and continued as an affiliate of MetLife until 2013, when the independent broker dealer division was sold to Cetera Advisor Networks.

Perkins has qualified annually for Leaders or Presidents conferences since 1985. He was recognized as a Presidents Conference Qualifier with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC at the “Connect 18” conference in San Antonio, where he attended a four-day conference meeting with industry leaders from throughout the United States.

In 2017, Perkins added more than $10 million in new investments to his more than $100 million of assets currently under management.

For the year, Perkins is on track to meet his goal of $1million monthly in new deposits with more than $10 million deposits as of Aug. 31.
