Prichard Consulting opens doors in Wintersville
WINTERSVILLE – Mark Prichard, who has 25 years of experience in local and regional advertising and marketing, has opened Prichard Consulting.
The Wintersville-based firm will help businesses plan their advertising options.
“I have a passion for quality, fundamental advertising that cuts through the clutter and captivates the consumer with positive emotion and appeal,” said Prichard. “The landscape of advertising is changing – there are so many options, and each generation is receiving its entertainment, news and social interaction much differently than even five or 10 years ago. Advertising professionals must stay on the crest of that wave to ensure their client’s message is seen, heard and remembered positively, not only on traditional media outlets but also on Twitter, Facebook and other inbound sources.”
Prichard is pursuing a master’s degree and holds a bachelor’s degree in radio and televison with a marketing minor from Morehead State University. He started in the business in 1988 as a production technician at WYMT-TV in Hazard, Ky.
He has worked in advertising sales for local media outlets including WTOV-TV and Lamar Outdoor. Between those assignments, he worked at WLEX-TV in Lexington, Ky.
Prichard has served the last 16 years as vice president of Em-Media Inc., a local advertising agency.
While there, he helped to create and execute ad campaigns for local businesses including Trinity Health System, Acuity Specialty Hospital, Guess Motors, DeFelice Brothers Pizza, Doan Ford, Budget Interiors, MEORC, Prism Fireworks and many others.
“It excites and energizes me to help a business create and promote a successful brand that is recognizable and memorable and I look forward to serving businesses locally and regionally to accomplish their marketing goals and dreams,” Prichard added.
Prichard is an elder at Crossroads Christian Church in Wintersville and coaches Upward youth sports. He and his wife of 25 years, Shari, are the parents of two children, Wesley, 21 and Nicole, 15.
