Vision Center’s home

STEUBENVILLE – Ohio Valley Vision Center has a new home.

“This move and new facility are an example of our commitment to provide the very best eye health care to our patients and community,” said Jagela, who has been in practice for 20 years. “At Ohio Valley Vision Center, you will receive the area’s most comprehensive vision and eye health medical examinations utilizing modern technology and our exemplary patient care and service.”

The new office features a number of innovative pieces of equipment including: spectral domain-OCT; auto-fluorescence retinal photography; specular microscopy; orbital ultrasound; corneal topography; and office-based visual evoked potential and electroretinograms. Other instruments used by the office to evaluate eye health include Humphrey Visual Field Testing and Pachymetry.

“We welcome referrals and consultations for routine vision exams for glasses and contact lenses along with consultations for all medical eye problems,” Jagela noted.

The office evaluates and treats conditions such as pink eye, foreign body removal, corneal abrasions, glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive eye evaluations, macular degeneration, Plaquenil and high-risk medications affecting the eyes, ocular migraines and vision disturbances, diplopia, cranial nerve palsies affecting the eyes, HSV and Herpes Zoster infections along with other conditions.
