Eat’n Park kicks off annual fundraiser

PITTSBURGH — Eat’n Park Restaurants is kicking off its 39th-annual Caring for Kids Campaign to raise funds for children’s hospitals throughout the region.

This year’s effort will run Friday through Dec. 10. Last year the campaign raised more than $445,000, bringing the lifetime campaign total to more than $10 million.

This year’s Caring for Kids vehicle drawing features a 2018 Ford Escape SE AWD. For the eighth consecutive year, the Neighborhood Ford Store has partnered with Eat’n Park to donate the brand new vehicle, which will be parked at most Eat’n Park restaurants throughout Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. Guests can purchase tickets for $2, and all proceeds benefit the Caring for Kids Campaign. One winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the campaign in December.

“We are extremely excited to kick off the 2017 Caring for Kids Campaign,” said Trina DeMarco, director of corporate giving and community partnerships for Eat’n Park Restaurants. “The strong passion that our team members and guests share for this campaign is truly remarkable.”

“Few harbingers of the holidays are as heart-warming as the kickoff for the Caring for Kids campaign. Each year, Neighborhood Ford Store is proud to partner with Eat’n Park to raise funds to support the important work of children’s hospitals in our region. I can’t think of a better way to welcome the holiday season,” said Joseph Thurby, chairman of the Neighborhood Ford Store board of directors.

Among Eat’n Park’s restaurants across the Tri-State Area are locations at 100 Mall Drive in Steubenville and 226 Three Springs Drive in Weirton.
