EGCC Radiologyic Technology receives accreditation

The Eastern Gateway Community College Radiologic Technology associate in applied science degree program has received accreditation following a review by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. The accreditation is for eight years, according to officials. The JRCERT is the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation for the accreditation of traditional and distance delivery educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance and medical dosimetry, officials said.
