Mingo Lions hold Christmas party
The Mingo Lions Christmas party was held recently at the Mingo Medical Group Office Building.
Bill Snyder gave the opening prayer, and Dr. William Johns led in opening ceremonies.
A moment of silence was observed for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings.
Favors were provided by Christine Barrett and Clara Sue Milewsky.
A gift exchange was held.
Johns conducted the white elephant sale.
President Jim Freiling was the winner of the candy jar game, and Clinton R. Snyder won the special drawing.
Other prize winners were Jeff Schuetz, Leroy Milewsky and Terry Snyder.
Guests were Joanne Raha, Kathy Freiling, Clinton R. Snyder, Kitte Kirschbaum and Zac Davis.
Christmas carols were sung with the singing of “Silent Night” bringing the event to a close.
The next meeting will be held Jan. 21.
