MLK Youth, Children’s Program includes dancers

The sixth-annual Martin Luther King Jr. Youth and Children Program, attended by about 50 children and parents on Saturday at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center in Steubenville, was a joint effort of Eastern Gateway Community College, the MLK Association, City of Steubenville and Franciscan University of Steubenville.

It included guest speaker Davina Ware, a Steubenville High School graduate and now a high school teacher in Columbus and director of the Columbus Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Columbus. Ware, a member of the Mattie Mae Foundation, brought fellow actors and dancers from Columbus for the program, including Marion-Franklin High School where she teaches.
