WMC auxiliary plans for March
WEIRTON – The Weirton Medical Center Auxiliary met in the Starvaggi Boardroom, with President-Elect Jeannie Duffy conducting the meeting.
The 17 attending members recited the Auxiliary Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Administrative Liaison Barbara Coalter reported the new “3D Mammography machine” is now in use at the medical center. Secretary Elda Weekley read the minutes of the January meeting, which were approved as read. Treasurer Paula Billick gave the financial status of the auxiliary.
Auxiliary Service chairs made the following reports: Flo Jonczak, clergy; John Patton, coffee cart; Barbara Visnic, gift cart; Jeannie Duffy, gift shop schedule; Barbara Cameron, information/surgical desks; Paula Billick, payroll deductions; Elda Weekley, publicity and mail; Beth DiGregorio, surgical escorts; and Margaret Patton, volunteens.
Special reports were given by: Flo Jonczak, birth certificates; Grace Lenhart, historian; Vivian Weigel, gift shop committee; and Alma Wansack, remembrance fund.
Margaret Patton reported on the Valentine’s Day carnation and rose sale, and Paula Billick, reported on the uniform and shoe sale.
