Praise His Name plans music fest on April 13

Wintersville-based Praise His Name, an online Christian music ministry featuring independent Christian artists from around the world, will hold its inaugural music fest on April 13 beginning at 5 p.m. at Bell Chapel United Methodist Church located on state Route 213, Steubenville.

Performers will include On A High Note, Dan Pinciaro, Friends, Dave Byers, Steve Powell and Led By Mercy.

The event will include drawings for free CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, books and other items as giveaways.

A free will offering will be taken to help support and further the work of Praise His Name, which is in its second year of operation with renewed emphasis to use a modern means to spread God’s word, according to Keith Wilson, founder and chairman of the nonprofit organization.

The Christian-based website was established in October 2011 for a specific purpose, including “with hopes to help combat the excessive amount of immoral content on the Internet,” Wilson said.

The music fest also will be the forum for orders to be taken for Praise His Name T-shirts to help raise money for the ministry. Only adult size T-shirts will be available. The cost is $15 for sizes small through extra large and $17 for XXL and bigger. There is an additional $3 charge for shipping.
