Church hosting music festival
WINTERSVILLE, Ohio – The eighth annual “Victory in Da Ville” will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Brentwood United Methodist Church located at 148 Stephens St., off Bantam Ridge Road.
The outdoor Christian music festival is a community outreach project, and there is no charge to attend. Instead, those attending are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the Urban Mission.
Among those performing include Doc Roe, Jennifer Faulkner Galownia, Chrisagis Brothers, Bob Wolfe, Sassy Shakers, Friends and Revelation.
There also will be a car cruise, with the free registration beginning at 11 a.m. Free dash plaques will be given to the first 50 people registering a car. Prizes will be awarded for Pastor’s Choice and Children’s Choice.
There will be children’s games and activities, including water slides, pinatas, face-painting and balloon items. Those children bringing a nonperishable food item will be entered into a prize drawing.
Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs. Handicapped parking will be available.
There will be an outdoor worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church with Revelation and Doc Roe. A picnic will immediately follow. The public is welcome to attend.
