Although the first church wasn’t consecrated until 1918, All Saints Greek Orthodox Church’s history dates back to 1915 with the initial church having been built on Avenue A in Weirton. We moved to our current location on West Street in 1947.
This is also where our 26th-annual Weirton Greek Festival, which will be held July 18, 19 and 20 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The festival includes delicious homemade Greek food and pastries, ethnic dancing, live music, market place, church tours and fellowship.
We love sharing our heritage with others and the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce has been a great help to us as we often use the Weekly Chamber Chat and eblasts to inform others of our events.
