Long-time Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce member Nino Karas welcomes the local community to dine in at The Serbian American Cultural Center this fall.

The new menu promotes their “in-house dining” experience as the “best home cooking in Weirton.”

Those who are in the mood for home cooking like grandma used to make won’t be disappointed after a visit to the Serbian Center. The food is hearty, and the all-you-can-eat-buffets will satisfy even the biggest appetite. They are now offering two new buffets.

The Serbian American Cultural Center offers lunch and dinner buffets Thursdays in Tesla’s Lounge. Lunch is held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner is held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both offer homemade soup, fresh salad bar, hot entrees and meats, vegetables and a starch. Dinner includes a fresh made-to-order pasta bar and dessert.

Coupons for the Thursday buffets are available on the business’ Facebook page, which is accessible by searching “The Serbian American Cultural Center.” Those who attend the Thursday buffets will receive a drawing ticket for a chance at a $25 gift card. Drawings are held at 8 p.m. Thursdays, and the winner need not be present.

The upcoming Wednesday buffet will offer Southern home-style comfort foods beginning at 4 p.m.
