Your Chamber and You

The Weirton Ministerial Association has been blessed to have better attendance and giving for our community events since joining the Chamber of Commerce.

This includes the community Thanksgiving dinner, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Greater Weirton Senior Center. It is open to the public, and meals will be delivered throughout the city.

Through chamber participation, area businesses and business leaders donate resources and volunteer to help serve meals.

The ministerial association will conduct the annual Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at the First United Methodist Church located on West Street. The service will include several area pastors offering prayer and reading scripture, and host pastor the Rev. Tim Conrad will deliver the sermon. The congregation will lead in worship and choir will perform. Immediately after the service, refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall.

The community is welcome to come together, worship and give thanks.
