NRA announces free mobile show app

FAIRFAX, Va. – The National Rifle Association announced the release of “GAOS 2014,” a Great American Outdoor Show mobile app for use with the iPhone, iPad and Android operating systems.

The free app, now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play, provides users with information to plan their visit to the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pa., Feb. 1-9.

“The new mobile app makes it easy to plan out which exhibitors, seminars, and events you want to visit at the Great American Outdoor Show,” said Jeff Poole, shows and exhibits managing director. “With over 100 seminars and events, over 1,000 exhibitors and 650,000 square feet of floor space, the GAOS 2014 app is a great resource for attendees as they navigate the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.”

The app provides users with an exhibitor list, floorplan, events schedule, new products and product categories. The app also features tools to create a list of favorite exhibitors and plan an agenda of seminars and demonstrations for quick reference.

The Great American Outdoor Show celebrates outdoor traditions and will feature shooting manufacturers, outfitters, boats, recreational vehicles and hunting and fishing retailers.

The show has been expanded with the addition of a shooting sports section which will join the traditional hunting, fishing, archery, camping and boating areas.
