Fundraiser remembers students

Bob Evans Restaurants in Weirton, Steubenville, and East Liverpool will be holding a fundraiser in memory of Oak Glen High School students Kaylin Rice, Kristyn Butcher and Emmett Snow from open to close today through Sunday.

Bob Evans will donate 15 percent of guest checks dining-in or ordering carry-out for the fundraiser. Bring a copy of the flyer for Oak Glen teens or simply mention it to the cashier and that check will be part of the donation.

Kaylin, Kristyn and Emmett died in a car accident Jan. 18.

“At Bob Evans we love to help out members of our community when they are in need,” said Bob Evans General Manager Tim Moser. “These teenagers lost their lives at such a young age. We want to help their families during this time of recovery.”

Bob Evans restaurants across the country participate in a Community Fundraising program for non-profit groups, tragedies, individuals experiencing a tough time, and local food banks.

Bob Evans has donated over $500,000 in 2013 through its Community Fundraiser program.
