Author to speak on autism
WELLSBURG – David A. George, author of “Be Unique, Be You and Live!” will speak at the Brooke County Public Library for Autism Awareness Month at 6 p.m. April 17.
George will talk about how he overcame a severe learning disability related to Asperger’s syndrome while attending Bethany College and graduate school.
He will share how he’s been able to identify his strengths and limitations, the dynamics of listening and communicating with others and his new perspective on people and the world. He will have copies of his book for sale. Call (304) 737-1551 to reserve a seat for the free program.
