Residents invited to participate in Parents as Teachers program
WEIRTON – Parents of children 6 years old and under and expecting mothers are invited to the next Parents as Teachers program offered by the Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network at 6 p.m. Thursday at the FRN’s office at 371 New York Blvd.
Norm Schwertfeger of the Brooke County West Virginia University Extension Service will show how to make an eco-friendly flowerpot that can be used to grow assorted vegetables and spices.
There also will be a demonstration on making your own baby wipes and a free book and Earth Day coloring bags for children.
