Societies holding wine event

WEIRTON – The St. Joseph the Worker and St. Paul Holy Name Societies are hosting their annual wine-tasting event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 26 at the Madonna High School gymnasium located at 150 Michael Way.

Thirty area winemakers will be present.

The event will include finger foods, soft drinks, a 50/50 drawing and cheese and chocolate fountains.

The event is open to adults 21 and older. Tickets are $15 per person. They are available in advance or at the door. To purchase tickets or a sponsorship, contact Mike Veltri at (304) 670-0722 or Lou Stock at (304) 797-1112. All proceeds support parish projects.
