Donohues entertain Seasons

WEIRTON – The Four Seasons Senior Citizens met May 21 at the Serbian American Cultural Center.

First Vice President Roberta Burnett conducted the meeting. Mary Rose Spano gave the opening prayer, followed by members reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and singing “God Bless America.”

Following dinner, The Donohues entertained.

Secretary Tom Maxwell read the April meeting minutes. Carolyn Shaffer gave the treasurer’s report, followed by Jose Cekenovic with the reservations report.

Members welcomed guest Cindy Miller, Dorothy Blankenship’s daughter.

Marge Trinone announced May birthdays, including Virginia Roseberry and Alvera Guglielano, and anniversaries, including Chris and Richard Sklener and Chris and Angie Gillette Jr.

Rich Sklener won the free dinner, and Dorothy Blankenship and Al Partozoti won the 50/50 drawing.

Jasper Wamsley, Tom Maxwell, Al Cellini, Jane Barney, Rita Orler and Dorothy Pashke won door prizes.

After the meeting, members played bingo and cards.

The next meeting will be held June 18.
