Three Score Seniors meet
WEIRTON – President Marlene Hare called a recent Three Score Seniors meeting to order.
Tony LaRosa gave the invocation and led members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and singing “God Bless America.”
Janet Keller gave a tribute to mothers as the evening’s entertainment.
Secretary Barbara Purks gave her report; and Ida Haynes gave the treasurer’s report, which was approved.
Tour Director Regina Truax announced the following tours:
July 4, Gateway Clipper, Pittsburgh;
July 17, “South Pacific” at West Virginia Public Theater, Morgantown; and
July 25, Hartville Flea Market.

Sunshine Chair Winnie Kemp sent get-well cards to Dolores Ginier, Kathy Jones and Dolores Wolfe and read a thank-you from Carol Irvine.
Pauline Korzi, Toni Herron, Chuck Elliott and Marian Lammers celebrated birthdays.
Reservation Chair Vivian Weigel announced 90 members and six guests were in attendance. Janet Keller, Lea and Bob Shirer, Mary Ellen Groves, Carla Glover and Donna Birch were guests.
Historian Lee Edwards passed around photo albums from 2001 to 2004.
Hospitality Chair Jim Hare gave gifts to Bill Wetzel, Margaret Chapman, Pat Evano, Helen Rohal and Mary Ann Elliott. Marlene Hare and Marian Lammers won the 50/25/25 drawing.
Kathy McCarrick awarded Undo’s dinner certificates to Sam Lescallette and Tony LaRosa.
McCarrick gave flower baskets to Diana Crago, Margaret Chapmen, Nancy Fridley and Phyllis Troia in honor of Mother’s Day.
Tony LaRosa gave the benediction, and Marlene Hare adjourned the meeting.
