Fundraiser to benefit ceiling fund

WEIRTON – Madonna High School will host a Hawaiian luau fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 12 at the high school gymnasium located at 150 Michael Way.

The event will benefit the St. Joseph the Worker Church Ceiling Fund. It will include a roasted pig and other foods, a Hawaiian attire contest, crowning of a king and queen, Chinese auction and music by Disc Jockey Mark Kaczmarek. Professional Hawaiian dancers will teach those attending how to hula. Those attending may bring their own adult beverages. It is open to those 21 years old and older. Tickets are $20 per person.
