Paris Presbyterian announces ‘Music on the Deck’ series

PARIS, Pa. – Paris Presbyterian Church’s Gathering Place Coffee Shop will hold a series of free outdoor concerts, “Music on the Deck,” throughout the summer at the coffee shop located at 127 Steubenville Pike.

The Harmony Brothers, including Jim Kell, Jim Brandolino and Lou Ralich, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday. They will perform rock and roll oldies, country and gospel music.

Mark Miller will perform at 7 p.m. July 11. He will perform solo guitar jazz music and music from the Great American Songbook. Miller will perform music by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and Dave Brubeck.

The Donohues will perform at 7 p.m. July 18. They will perform easy listening 1950s, 1960s and 1970s music.

Kelly Ward will lead a bluegrass Jam at 7 p.m. July 25.

Circle of Faith will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 1. The Christian rock and praise band plays contemporary Christian music, worship songs and hymns.

Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Beverages will be served. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors into the coffee shop.
