Tiffany Rawson has been an independent consultant with Thirty One for nearly two years.

Thirty One is a direct-sell company founded by Cindy Monroe in 2003. The company is faith-based and founded on Proverbs 31.

“They believe in encouraging, celebrating and rewarding women,” said Rawson. “Thirty One gifts offer products such as purses, totes, thermals and home organization.”

Rawson is a Weirton native and lives in the city with her two children. She works at the Wellsburg Kroger, after having worked at the downtown location for 15 years.

Rawson joined the Weirton Chamber of Commerce this year.

“I was not aware of all of the services they offer,” she said. “I am pleased with all of the support they have provided over the last few months.”

Rawson can be contacted at (304) 479-2925 or through her website at

She will host an open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Fuzzy Peach on Three Springs Drive.

“Come out and see what Thirty One has to offer and support local businesses as well,” said Rawson.

The Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the first Snow Bowl from 5:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Lanes Family Fun Center located on Main Street.

The chamber is raising money to animate the Weirton Christmas lights on Three Springs Drive while having fun at the same time. The cost to bowl will be $20 per person for two hours of cosmic bowling and includes shoe rental. Those who raise $60.00 or more will bowl for free. The chamber encourages bowling sponsors.

The goal is $5,000. The chamber encourages all businesses to participate and form a team of five, for example, bank versus bank, club versus club, business versus business, or anyone who would like to get involved. Creativity is encouraged. Kids and adults are welcome, and those participating don’t need to be a professional bowler. Businesses can sponsor a team for $300.

The person with the highest donations over $500 will be the grand marshal for the 2014 Weirton Christmas Parade Nov. 29. There will also be a Chinese auction and prize giveaways.

Excess proceeds will be donated to the Holiday Lanes USBC Youth bowling program to help fund tournament costs and Youth 529 Scholarship awards program.

Donations for the Chinese auction are also appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome.

Checks can be made payable to: Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce and mailed to Suite 1, 3174 Pennsylvania Ave., Weirton, WV 26062.
