Red Hot in Hancock

The Red Hot in Hancock Chili Cook-off committee met Aug. 8 at Eat’n Park to finalize the details for this new event to be held Sept. 27 at the Weirton Event Center. The committee includes, from left, Nita Resler, Susan Baldt, Martha Zatezalo and Chair DeeAnn Greene. It will be the first year for this International Chili Society-sanctioned event, which will feature a Republican versus Democrat tug-of-war, chili tasting and vendors.
