Arts, crafts show set for Nov. 4

WEIRTON — The Weirton Woman’s Club Art Department is gearing up for kick-off to the holiday shopping season, the 52nd-annual arts and crafts show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at Mercy Baptist Church’s R.J. Bush Center located on Pennsylvania Ave.

Vendors, including Debbie Lawton, Tinker Carey, Bobbi Jo Domitrovich, Rose Porco and Shirlene Horstmeyer, will be offering a variety of items, such as jewelry, candles, woodworking, leather crafts, wreaths, florals, cookies, doll clothes and candy.

The event also will feature the Author’s Alley, where local authors will offer young adult fiction, fantasy, children’s books and inspirational novels.

The Mercy Baptist Church women will offer concessions.

Admission is $2. Parking is free.

The Weirton Woman’s Club is a General Federation of Women’s Clubs of West Virginia member organization.
