Muskeeters 4-H Club holds March meeting

WEIRTON — President Mackenzie Moore called the Musketeers 4-H Club March meeting to order, followed by members reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge.

Paige Reid gave the secretary’s report, and Alec Burkhart gave the treasurer’s report. Andrew Byers discussed how to handle peer pressure during the health report.

Mazie Williamson led the 4-H song. Mackenzie Moore discussed old business and reminded club members of the following upcoming events and camps: Teen Leader Weekend, West Virginia University 4-H Baseball Days, Teen Leader Council, OMC, Alpha I and II and Hancock County Camp.

The business meeting adjourned, then Hancock County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Bob Connors gave a presentation on drug addiction, abuse, illegal drugs in the community and disposing of unused medicine.
