Light Touch entertains Gadabouts

WINTERSVILLE — Lite Touch provided musical entertainment on the light side at the April meeting of the Gadabouts, which was held at St. Florian Hall.

Dale Irwin presided. Frank Vostatek and Lola Swanagan opened the meeting with devotions.

Robbie France won the 50-50 drawing.

The annual picnic will be held July 12 at the Follansbee Community House.

Door prizes of potted white lilies were won by Linda Cole, Jim Drylie, Robbie France, Isabelle McCollough, Mary Alice Meyer, Sondra Nestor, Evelyn Parisi, Rich Petrella, Marge Stock and Jerry Williams. The flowers were provided by Vostatek and Swanagan.

Tour Director Regina Truax announced the following trips: May 1, Rivers Casino; May 2, Erie’s Station Dinner Theater matinee, casual dress; May 27, “Dirty Dancing,” Heinz Hall; June 11, The Palace Theater, “My Mother is Italian, My Father’s Jewish and I am in Therapy;” June 16, Sugarcreek; June 21, Meadows Casino and Tanger Outlets; July 2, Pirates Sunday game vs. San Francisco Giants; July 4, Gateway Clipper Fireworks Cruise includes bus, band and captain’s buffet; July 7, Lady Luck Casino, Nemacolin; July 28, Hartville Market; July 30, Una Bella Festa; Aug. 23, Meadow’s Casino and Tanger Outlets; Sept. 7, Meadow’s Casino; and Oct. 22-28, Myrtle Beach.
