Thirteen junior high youth from Wintersville United Methodist Church performed mission work the week of June 5, including traveling to Pittsburgh’s Ronald McDonald House where they made and served 54 families dinner, packed almost 3,000 pounds of food at the Pittsburgh Food Bank and made and served brunch to more than 100 at Urban Mission Ministries in Steubenville. “Road Trip” was the theme for the mission retreat, and the Bible verse was Isaiah 6:8 — “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” Involved were, front, from left, Brianna Brake, Nikki Thompson, A.J. Thompson, Ashley Toothman, Jorja Anderson and Paige Toothman; and back row, David Quillen, Reane Marshall, Grady Board, Savanna Ankrom, Grace Marinacci, Director of Youth Ministries Tiffany Manley, Christian Christian, Haylie Parker, Mya Bonecutter and Torrin Ricker.
