4-H club news
Buckeye Variety
Buckeye Variety 4-H Club, led by adviser Jennie Scott, held two recent meetings with Hunter Huggins in charge of both.
One meeting was held at the adviser’s home and attended by 15 members; the other at the Pleasant Hill Schoolhouse Museum, which was attended by 12 members.
Discussion was held on 4-H camp, T-shirts and making sure people had teams for the team skill-a-thon.
Flowers were planed at the museum location as a community service project. Five members did demonstrations on bunnies, goats and the proper way to kick a soccer ball.
Flower beds at the fair grounds will constitute another project.
The next meeting will be held July 25.
