Steubenville Art Association member Gina Judy of Richmond, pictured here at the North Hills Art Center, 3432 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, recently won first in watercolor, one of six awards given at the Mid-Winter Hues Regional juried by pastel artist Gail Beem. The piece, “Life Cycle,” is a watermedia/rice-paper collage. Judy has three pieces in the exhibit as part of 116 pieces by 53 artists. It runs through March 3. In the Webster Arts Juried International Exhibit in St. Louis, Judy has two watercolors accepted in the exhibit with 45 pieces from 38 artists representing 16 states and Mexico, all of them selected from 407 submissions from 107 artists, by juror Edna Patterson-Petty. The 23rd Arts In Harmony International again includes one of Judy’s mixed-media pieces in its Hopkins, Minn., exhibit at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, that began Feb. 15. She also will have works at the Galleria in Mount Lebanon, Pa., in early March as part of the McMurray Art League spring exhibit and in Artworks Around Town in a March group display in Wheeling.
