The Weirton Knights of Columbus Council No. 3734 recently presented $2,000 to Madonna High School as part of its semi-annual tuition assistance program donation. Student recipients are selected by the staff and administration at Madonna High School to help defray tuition costs of eligible students. The council supports many Catholic and civic organizations in the Weirton area. On hand for the presentation were, from left, the Rev. Dennis Schuelkens Jr., designated pastor, Madonna High School; James Kelly, Knights of Columbus grand knight; Jamie Lesho, principal, Madonna High School; Amy Granato, guidance counselor and religion teacher; and Lawrence De Rosa, Knights of Columbus officer.
