Eighth-graders students Talia Kosonovich, left, and Kennedy McGeehan have been selected to represent Oak Glen and Hancock County Schools at the W.Va. Ambassadors Camp in Charleston on June 8-21. Kosonovich is the daughter of Brandis and Brad Kosonovich of Newell, and McGeehan is the daughter of Mandy McGeehan of Newell and Pat McGeehan of Chester. An adventure in West Virginia history, culture and arts awareness provided to many of the state’s outstanding students, the camp is operated through grants from the West Office of Education and the Arts, the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, the Clay Center for the Performing Arts and Sciences and the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau.
