STEUBENVILLE — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has scheduled the following programs and activities:

Adena Branch, (740) 546-3782

Adults: Book Club will meet for discussion on June 18 at 5:30 p.m. Call to join.

Children: “Libraries Rock! and so does the Earth.” Look at (and touch) fossils that offer clues to the past and learn about the different types of rocks while playing two geology games with Oglebay Institute’s Schrader Environmental Education Center at noon on June 21. The program is for children 5 and older.

Meet the Hamburglar from McDonald’s Restaurants and make a craft at 11:30 a.m. on June 22.

Brilliant Branch, (740) 598-4028

Children: Libraries Rock! and so does the Earth” will be offered at 3 p.m. on June 21. The program is for children 5 and older.

Meet the Hamburglar from McDonald’s Restaurants on June 22 at 2:30 p.m.

Dillonvale-Mount Pleasant Branch, (740) 769-2090

Children: Children can do lava painting and make a harmonica at 2 p.m. on June 19.

Babygarten, for parents with children birth to 2, will be held at 11:15 a.m. on June 21. This is a lapsit program to share books, songs and rhymes. No registration is necessary.

Adults: Make a music sheet wreath on June 23 at 11:30 a.m. The library will supply the music sheets and cardboard. Participants are required to bring flowers and a choice of rope/ribbon/twig to hang the finished product. Call to register.

Adults and Teens: Professional Musician Ethan Howard will introduce participants to playing the guitar at 1:30 p.m. on June 19. Call to register.

Make a music sheet wreath on June 22 at 6 p.m. The library will supply the music sheets and cardboard. Participants are required to bring flowers and their choice of rope/ribbon/twig to hang the finished product. Call to register.

Teen gaming will be held at 5:30 p.m. on June 20. Play games on Wii, Playstation and XBOX360.

Stop in anytime to make a sound wave bracelet on June 18. Supplies will be provided.
