Summer food service program
beginning July 30 in Weirton
NEW CUMBERLAND — The Hancock Co. 4-H Foundation has announced its sponsorship of the federally funded summer food service program.
Breakfast and lunch are open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate.
Meals will be served at the Hancock-Brooke Cloverbud Day Camp from July 30 through Aug. 3 at the RJ Bush Center in Weirton. Breakfast is served at 9:30 a.m., and lunch is served at 12:15 p.m.
“A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months,” a spokesperson noted.
