“Together” kicks off on Sept. 5 and will be held next door to the church at the new Weirton Christian Center.

It begins with a meal prepared by the women of the church and served from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The suggested donation is $2 per person with a $10 maximum per family. Reservations are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcomed.

“At 6:45 p.m., we divide up for a time of fun, getting to know each other and learning from Scripture how to successfully handle the challenges of personal and family life,” a spokesperson explained. “The group time goes from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. We will be using a lot of ways to get at the truth about living healthy, enjoyable lives — video presentations, discussion, hands-on learning, guest presenters and more,” the spokesperson added.

Groups are divided into kindergarten through fourth, fifth through eighth grade and adults.
