Join in the hunt for Bigfoot

CADIZ – Marc DeWerth, a longtime Bigfoot investigator, says evidence points to the fact that the furry creature exists, and he’ll speak about it from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 16 at Puskarich Public Library, 200 Market St.

Bigfoot believers, skeptics and the just plain curious are welcome to attend the free event.

After the talk, DeWerth will heighten the imagination of those attending as he heads out to Sally Buffalo Park and demonstrates several ways to attract a sasquatch. This includes “call blasting and wood knocking,” officials said.

DeWerth of Columbus Station has been a longtime Bigfoot investigator with close to 20 years of experience. He has investigated more than 150 reports from throughout Ohio and is fully convinced Bigfoot resides in the Buckeye State.

He has been involved with groups such as Eastern Ohio Bigfoot Investigation Center, the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization and the Ohio Bigfoot Organization.

DeWerth’s lecture will focus on the rash of recent Ohio reports received in 2012. He is looking for any and all information about any recent alleged sightings in the area surrounding Harrison County. All information will be kept confidential. Contact can be made at madbigfoot@aol.com.

Currently DeWerth and his group of the Ohio Bigfoot Organization are hosts of the Ohio Bigfoot Conference with a web site of www.ohiobigfootconference.com.

It will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 13 at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge and Conference Center in Cambridge.
