Three arrested for Weirton robbery

WEIRTON – Three individuals are behind bars today following reports of an armed robbery on Three Springs Drive early Saturday.

In a statement released by the Weirton Police Department, officials stated Stephen Bosick, 18, of Weirton; Nathen Reven, 19, of Bethany; and Christopher Bert, 18, of Follansbee; were arrested and charged with armed robbery.

Police had been dispatched to the BFS Foods gas station on Three Springs at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday following a report of an armed robbery at the business.

Officers arrived soon after, with patrol officers locating a vehicle traveling on Knights Road with three passengers. Officers conducted a stop of the vehicle on Penco Road, where it was determined the individuals were those involved in the alleged robbery.

In addition, after receiving a search warrant for the vehicle, officers reported locating a loaded 32-caliber handgun, ski masks and recovered the money allegedly stolen from the gas station.

All three individuals were arraigned by a Hancock County magistrate, with bond set at $100,000 each.
