AG reps to hold local office hours

CHARLESTON – The Office of the West Virginia Attorney General will conduct mobile office hours in the Northern Panhandle later this month to assist citizens and consumers with issues they might have.

Amy Nickerson, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the office, will host the events, which are scheduled locally for:

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Hancock County Courthouse, 102 Court St. in New Cumberland.

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Brooke County Courthouse in Wellsburg.

“Mobile office hours are a wonderful way for our Office to reach citizens where they live and work,” Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said. “We want to be able to answer questions they may have, hear about their concerns and help them avoid scams, frauds or identity theft.”

The mobile office hours are open to the public, and reservations are not required.

For information about the mobile office hours, please call Nickerson at (304) 543-8457.
